The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras will request to the Autonomous Community the arrangement of the path of the Cemetery to the Rambla de Nogalte.
The initiative, at the proposal of the government team, will be approved at the next Municipal Plenary.
Specifically, the works will be executed in an estimated area of ​​10,000 square meters, from the RM-D16 to the Rambla de Nogalte.
The tasks will consist of the reinforcement and paving with asphalt rolling layer, as well as the widening of punctual form to reach a minimum width of 5 meters, improving the ditches for the evacuation of runoff water.
The Councilor for Agriculture, Livestock, Water and Pedanías, José María Parra, stressed that "we will continue to make, in collaboration with the regional government, important budgetary efforts to expand and improve the municipal network of roads."
Thus, Parra recalled that "recently have been awarded the works of several rural roads as Los Abades, Vera or Los Pérez, so soon begin the work of remodeling."
The Autonomous Community will invest more than 342,000 euros in refurbishment of the rural roads of Los Abades, Vera and Los Pérez.
The actions will consist of recycling the pavement, previous clearing of the margins, and cleaning of gutters.
These projects also include the application of curing irrigation to allow the correct setting of the firm recycling, the localized application of herbicide for clearing and cleaning margins, opening of gutters, installation of new salvacunetas steps, replacement of pipes, installation of safety barriers , replacement or reinforcement of vertical signaling and the enabling of new horizontal signaling.
