Young Lumbrerenses between 18 and 29 years old, enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System, can receive aid of 345 euros to obtain the driving license.

This was announced today by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Túnez, and the general director of Youth, Francisco Sánchez.

The initiative, promoted by the regional government in collaboration with the Association of Driving Schools of Murcia (Aramur), is intended for those who are making a personalized itinerary of employment and do not have the driver's license type B.

The mayor stressed that "with this measure we provide facilities for obtaining the driver's license, which will increase job opportunities and independence for young people."

In addition, Tunisia has indicated that "the initiative is aimed at those young people with greater difficulties who are unemployed and who are not studying either."

"Facilitating the labor insertion of young people and improving their situation in the labor market is, today, one of our main concerns." The people registered in the Youth Guarantee receive personalized advice and work guidance from a City Council technician in order to improve the integration of young people in the labor market.

Among the functions of the technician highlights the advice to young people in employment and training, information and support for registration in the National Youth Guarantee System, activation and recruitment of young people for registration in Youth Guarantee and implementation of personalized itineraries of insertion partner -labor.

The requirements to register in the National Juvenile Guarantee System are: a) to have Spanish nationality or to be citizens of the European Union or of the States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area;

b) be registered in any locality of the Spanish territory;

c) have more than 16 years and less than 30 years;

d) not having worked on the calendar day prior to the filing date of the application;

e) not having received educational actions on the calendar day prior to the date of presentation of the application;

f) as well as submit an express declaration of interest in participating in the National Youth Guarantee System.
