'In your park or in mine' is the name of the different revegetation workshops that the students of the different schools of Puerto Lumbreras have carried out.
In addition, the activity included the visit of the Ecopark Mobile to the different educational centers.
Thus, the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras celebrates the Month of the Environment with a series of initiatives whose main objective is to raise awareness among Lumbrerenses of the need to recycle, keep natural and common spaces clean, as well as respect for and care for animals.
The programming continues tomorrow with the talk 'My pets and me' which means the continuity of the awareness workshops held in local schools on the care of animals and the need to maintain cleanliness in public spaces.
Taking into account the great reception of this first initiative, on this occasion, and attending to neighborhood requests, the workshop will be open on Tuesday, June 12 in the auditorium of the Cultural Center at 7:00 p.m.
A date that will coincide with the workshop 'Recycling is something for everyone' at Colegio Purísima Concepción.
The companies will also be present at a meeting to raise awareness about recycling to promote among local businesses the increase and improvement in the act of recycling.
It will take place tomorrow at the Casa de los Duendes at 4:00 p.m. and will include a coffee-talk given by ECOEMBES.
To conclude, the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras appeals to all Lumbrerenses to participate in the campaign '1m2 by nature' of Libera, nature without garbage.
Thus, the town Lumbrerense is added as one of the 70 collection points throughout Spain thanks to the participation of committed local associations such as Silybum or Andaya.
The appointment will take place on Saturday, June 23, at a clean-up day on the Vilerda ravine starting at 9:00 a.m.
