The Summer School of the Municipal Nursery Network works at full capacity with more than a hundred children enrolled.
The mayor of the town, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the Councilor for Education and Equality of Opportunities, Sonia Lopez, visited the children who participate in this new edition that takes place at the Ana Mª Sánchez, Buenaventura Romera and La Estación Children's Schools -Sparagal.
This school was born with the aim of facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life to parents during the summer school holidays.
Specifically, the initiative runs from June 25 until August 31.
The Summer School, promoted by the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, offers coverage from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Families can contract this service with flexible entry and exit times for fortnights and months.
In addition, the Municipal Nursery Network provides an opportunity for families to drop off children in the afternoon.
The children carry out school reinforcement tasks, popular games, English classes, craft workshops, music classes and thematic activities with the aim of promoting the child's integral development and encouraging their creativity.
"The program of activities combines recreational and educational initiatives, while promoting values ​​as important as camaraderie, respect and solidarity," said the mayor.
The School is aimed at children from 3 to 12 years old and has a team of qualified and experienced professionals.
The methodology used is active and participatory through the game.
