The town of Puerto Lumbreras has become for a few days the stage for the recording of the audiovisual project 'Milenials de pueblo'.
A great challenge of the producer Ruddy Media located in the CEILUM, Nursery of Cultural and Creative Companies of this same municipality, since, although it has previous experience in making short films, it is his first professional audiovisual work of these characteristics.
The initiative, in which Murcia-based producer Mood Films participates with a label also from Lumbrerense, has begun with the recording of four episodes of a pilot series aimed at television but, as its director Ruddy Méndez has pointed out, "because it is aimed at an audience young we do not rule out its dissemination through other channels such as different platforms or directly on the Internet. "
The filming of this first season has begun during the month of July, with a cast that brings together actors of the stature of Olga Hueso, a long career with participation in 'Homo Zapping' or 'Arrayán', Javier Cidoncha of the series 'El Internado', or the influences Paul Ferrer (Youtube / Instagram) and the young Murcia Topalejo, along with others that will be announced in September with the continuation of the shooting.
Together with them, other local novices from the area, trained during the last six months for the project.
Among them Francis Vidal, Eladio García, Laura López, Marcos López and Ángela Vega
This varied cast of actors and actresses will be responsible for interpreting the "fresh and fun" content developed by the script's creator, Mario Albelo, screenwriter in 'José Mota Presenta' and collaborator of 'El Mundo Today', which Méndez has highlighted some dialogues "very ingenious" in this youth comedy based on an Institute.
The main plot takes place through the experiences of an urban teacher accustomed to living in the big city, Guillem.
After gaining his place as a professor of Art History in a small town in Murcia, his entire lifestyle armed around underground festivals, exhibitions or independent film cycles is shaken by having to change his location, opening his vision of life to a new world, the rural one.
Through his relationship with his students, he will discover a freer and less corseted way of life, intertwining other stories of lesser trajectory that will enrich this storyline.
Ruddy Méndez wanted to thank "the great interest and participation shown from the Department of Culture and the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Míria Angeles Tunisia, to make possible a project of this nature in the town."
For its part, the Councilor for Culture Lumbrerense, María Victoria Jerez, has highlighted the importance of projects of this type being developed in the town, "giving life to the new cultural space designed for cultural and creative entrepreneurship", hoping that cradle of many other projects of this nature.
