The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras is preparing to carry out works to improve the current facilities of the municipal Ecoparque.
It will be thanks to the grant granted by the Government with an economic endowment amounting to 20,776 euros within the State Plan for the Prevention of Waste and the State Plan Waste Framework (PEMAR) for the improvement of clean points.
Through this help, the Ecoparque de Puerto Lumbreras located in the Industrial Park of this town will make improvements in its operation, realizing a value in this space that meets the needs of a current population of more than 15,000 inhabitants.
The improvements consist in the installation of a roof with metal structure roofing the waste storage area, in addition to the purchase of a tight metal container, a cage, as well as two scales for the weighing of the waste entering and leaving the installation .
All with a total budget of 20,776 euros.
The actions financed by this line must be executed within a maximum period of 24, which could be extended for another six months.
