Agents of the Civil Guard have made an exhibition at the CEIP Asunción Jordán de Puerto Lumbreras, which has included a simulation with dogs specialized in the detection of drugs and explosives.
The activity, which is part of the 'Master Plan for coexistence and improvement of school safety', has been developed throughout the morning in the schoolyard.
More than 200 children have known the work done by the body of the Civil Guard in its various specialties.
This plan also includes talks with students about safety issues related to bullying, drugs, internet, racism and discrimination.
Among the objectives of this initiative is to respond in a coordinated and effective way to issues related to the safety of minors and young people in schools and their environment;
improve knowledge of available police resources for the prevention of crime and protection of victims;
and to help train students in respect for fundamental rights and freedoms, and in the values ​​of dignity and equality between men and women.
