'Everything starts here', the new programming of the School of Parents for 2019 (10/01/2019)

The Department of Education of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, together with FAMPA del Guadalentín, the AMPAS of the four lumbrerenses colleges, Educating Lives, Educational Innovation and the Body of the Civil Guard, has presented this morning the programming of the School of Parents for 2019. An agenda of talks collected under the title 'Everything starts here' that aims to combine educational efforts between the educational community and the family, the problems that arise daily in coexistence with children.

The activities, which include four-colloquiums and a days of educational innovation, will have a free playroom service to facilitate the assistance of those parents who are interested in attending.

"It is a great challenge for us to present this new edition of the School for Parents, an initiative that we believe is essential to promote joint growth between the educational community and family, strengthening the foundations in the area of ​​Education in the municipality", highlighted the mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Tunisia.

Thus, Puerto Lumbreras will host in the month defebrero the II Conference of Educational Innovation of the Guadalentín Valley.

An appointment that will start at 10.00 in the facilities of the Hotel Riscal and that aims to provide testimonials and knowledge of professionals with successful experiences in the areas to be treated. This initiative arises, according to its organizers, the Innovative Together Valle del Guadalentín Collective, "from the deeper conviction of the need for a change for the improvement of our educational system "being for it" urgently disseminate theories, share emotions, disseminate useful experiences facing new challenges so that this change can occur ".

The days of the Guadalentín County are structured in several presentations, educational experiences and musical play aspects with topics related to improvement and innovation in the field of education.

The first intervention, 'Health and Emotional Intelligence inside and outside of the classroom', will be carried out by the psychologist at Essential Wellbeing Centers of Toledo, Inma Aldea Gómez.

Next, the teacher and educational psychologist of Zaragoza, Toñi Morcillo, will give some clues about 'How to improve coexistence and cope with bullying', 'Personal aspects of Emotional Intelligence (Learning to love us)' from the Bachelor in Pedagogy and Psychology, and Doctor in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Emotional Intelligence, Carlos Hué will give way to 'Social aspects of Emotional Intelligence (Learning to love others)' with the social educator master in Emotional Intelligence, Antonio Reloba.
