The Electoral Committee of the Popular Party of Puerto Lumbreras, chaired by Juan Moisés Gea, has already begun to meet for the nomination of the candidates that will make up the list of the municipal candidacy next May 26.
The Electoral Committee, the competent body to approve the municipal candidacies in accordance with the party's statutes, already has the first names of the people who will concur with the mayoral candidate, Mª Ángeles Túnez, to the municipal elections.
In the coming weeks they will close the complete list and the name of all the members will be made public.
The candidate and current mayor, M ª Angeles Tunisia, stressed that "the Popular Party of Puerto Lumbreras will be presented to the upcoming elections with a strong, renewed team and eager to continue working to improve Puerto Lumbreras."
