The Ministry of Public Works has given the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras the ownership of a section of the service road of the A-7 motorway, which implies the consequent modification of the State Highway Network.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, dated April 29, 2019, requested the Ministry of Development the assignment of ownership of a section of the service road of the A-7 motorway, under the conditions established in Law 37/2015 .
Once the compliance with the legally established requirements has been accredited, the Ministry of Public Works considered it appropriate to accede to the request.
The file contemplates the cession without charge of the section of service road of the A-7 motorway, included between the pk 661,196 and 662,888, right margin.
In its route two sub-sections can be distinguished:
- Sub-section 1: One-way road, between the pk 621,196 and 662,450 with a length of 1,423 m and an estimated area of ​​8,866 m 2.
- Sub-section 2: Two-way road, between the pk 662,450 and 662,888 with a length of 450 m and an estimated area of ​​4,335 m 2.
The total length of the section to be transferred is 1,873 m, with an estimated area of ​​13,201 m2.
The assignment of this section, which to date belonged to the State Highway Network, does not impair the continuity of the state road network or the functionality of it.
It is a section that lacks a service function for long-distance traffic.
