The Working Women's Public Park will be improved and conditioned with biosaludables games and other equipment (04/07/2019)

The Association for Rural Development 'Campoder', within the Rural Development Program of the Region of Murcia 2014-2020, has approved the granting of LEADER aid, with EAFRD support, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, and the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fishing.

One of these projects is the improvement and refurbishment of the Working Women's Public Park with biosaludable games and other equipment, with an investment of 34,073.89 €.

Likewise, it is intended to promote gender equality with the remodeling of this park and the empowerment of women in our society.

It also aims to solve the current situation that characterizes this public space, the gateway to the hamlet of Cabezo de la Jara, as urban and socially degraded;

since it is intended to provide the municipality with a meeting space characterized by energy savings and efficiency, ease of access to ICT, adapted to disabled people, with bioconstruction criteria and capable of creating a new tourist and cultural resource that promotes the development endogenous.

Among other actions, a monument will be placed on behalf of the working woman, the entrance for the disabled will be adapted throughout the public park, and 9 biosaludable games and 4 children's games will be installed in an area of ​​the park.

In addition, a natural yellow sand filling will be carried out in all its zones, the repair of the walks with natural stone and a stone area that exists in a flower bed will be modified.

For the location of the bio-healthy park, indicative signs will be placed to facilitate its location, as well as an informative poster.

Another poster of Historical Heritage will be placed where it will disseminate the aforementioned protected intangible historical heritage and the one existing as an Asset of Cultural Interest in Puerto Lumbreras and the need for its preservation to avoid the essential alteration of its values.

There will also be a shaded area with treated wood, through a pergola and a parking for 6 bicycles in treated wood will be placed.

Five trees will be planted in the park of different classes, and a solar charger will be installed for mobile devices, which will be unique throughout the Region of Murcia and which aims to build loyalty and facilitate the meeting of citizens, being a practical, ecological and innovative that incorporates a 30W solar panel.
