a measure in which the lumbrerense municipality is a pioneer in the region |
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has announced that this year will be organized the "Day without noise" at the Patron Festivities of 2019. An initiative that will ensure the tranquility of children with autism thanks to a noise-free schedule and shrill lights.
It will be Monday of the holidays (October 7) on the occasion of "Children's Day".
In addition, as in previous years, a measure will be carried out that will allow children with disabilities to have 100% bonus to enter the fair's attractions.
Initiative in which Puerto Lumbreras is a pioneer municipality in the region.
Thus, minors with a disability equal to or greater than 33% will not have to pay to make use of the fair's attractions.
To benefit from this measure, children must have a document proving disability and present it at the box office.
In addition, they must be accompanied by an adult.
On the other hand, the Consistory will enable parking spaces in the fairgrounds for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
In addition, the Municipal Booth and the Young Tent will have a reserved space so that people with reduced mobility have better visibility at the concerts.
Mª Ángeles Tunisia has highlighted "the commitment" of Puerto Lumbreras with the most vulnerable people.
"We believe that it is essential that people with disabilities feel integrated into society. From the government team we are focused on people with some type of disability and their families."
