The IES Rambla de Nogalte starts the course with more than 1000 students enrolled, a figure that increases with respect to the previous year (17/09/2019)

1056 students start the new school year at the Rambla de Nogalte Secondary School in Puerto Lumbreras.

The 2019/20 will have 205 new students of 1st ESO (15 more than the previous year), and the Vocational Training student reaches the approximate figure of 172 people, although it can be increased since the enrollment period for these FP studies still open

The local mayor, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, the Councilor for Education, José Manuel Sánchez, and the director of the IES Rambla de Nogalte, Ramón Ruiz, have been present at the opening ceremony of the course and have welcomed the students who they begin for the first time the Obligatory Secondary Education.

As a main novelty, it is necessary to highlight that this year begins the second course of the Higher Degree Training Course 'Physical Conditioning' offered for the first time in the center of Lumbre last year.

On the other hand, the bilingual modality covers a high percentage of the total enrolled in the ESO.

Remember that the center has the modalities of Baccalaureate in Sciences as well as Humanities and Social Sciences, to which the different Formative Cycles of Middle Degree in Administrative Management, Conduction of Physical Sports Activities in the Natural Environment are added, as well as those of Degree Superior in Administration and Finance, Physical Conditioning, or those of Basic Professional Training in Administrative Services or Electricity and Electronics.
