Another issue that have tried has been implementing the project of outdoor lighting in the RM-D11 road.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, met with the new Minister of Development, Pedro Rivera, to discuss various actions that will be implemented in the municipality in infrastructure.
Among the issues have been addressed at the meeting include the construction of a roundabout on the RM-D16 road, near the Regional Livestock Market.
"The implementation of this action is key to improving road safety in the municipality, and would entail removing a black for traffic point. This work also will mean a significant improvement in movement and access to that market," he explained the Mayor.
Another issue that have addressed during the meeting is the exterior lighting on the RM-D11 road, in the specific section that connects the station to the Rambla de Béjar.
Tunisia said that "this action would increase safety on the road to provide drivers with greater night visibility, while improving the energy efficiency of public lighting system."
Finally, also they addressed issues related to the improvement and construction of social housing in hamlet lumbrerense Station-Esparragal.
Finally, Maria Angeles Tunisia thanked the counselor visiting the town and its great commitment on their part and on the part of all the Ministry of Public Works with the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
