The IES Rambla de Nogalte of Puerto Lumbreras hosts the opening ceremony of the 2016/2017 course coinciding with the celebration of the XXV anniversary of the center (20/09/2016)

The event was attended by over 150 people, including the president of the Community, the mayor of the town and the Minister of Education and Universities was.

The Mayor has been commissioned to start the event and took the opportunity to thank who have chosen Puerto Lumbreras as municipality to develop the opening of the school year at the regional level.

The Secondary School Nogalte Rambla de Puerto Lumbreras has welcomed this morning the celebration of the official ceremony opening the 2016/2017 course of the Region of Murcia, which has been chaired by the regional chief executive, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.

Finally, the Mayor thanked the great academic and human work done by the educational community of IES Rambla de Nogalte in its 25-year history.

IES Rambla de Nogalte

The IES Rambla de Nogalte consists of a teaching team of more than 70 teachers and 979 students in the course 2016/2017.

They have enrolled a total of 595 students in ESO, while in high school are 205 students have enrolled in this center.

Baccalaureate modalities this course taught at the IES Rambla de Nogalte are Science and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences.

On the other hand, more than one hundred people have chosen to undertake vocational training in this center.

For the year 2016/2017, the provision of basic FP offers the possibility of studying electronics and electricity-related studies and management services.

In the case of Vocational Training half cycle, students may study the administrative management cycle or driving cycle physical and sports activities in the natural environment.

Also, a cycle of higher degree in administration and finance is also offered.

Note that the last year and the bilingual program was introduced in the Rambla de Nogalte Institute, which will allow about 200 students benefit from this form of teaching during the course 2016/2017.
