A total of 64 families in Puerto Lumbreras benefit from 111,000 euros in aid to rehabilitate their homes (12/02/2017)

The Urban Regeneration and Renewal Area (ARRU) project of the Housing Plan 2013-2016 that is being developed in Puerto Lumbreras will allow 64 families to benefit from a total value of more than 111,000 euros for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of their homes .

The director general of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Nuria Fuentes, and the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Ángeles Tunisia, met with the neighbors to explain the development of the actions that includes the ARRU, in addition to the new aid that contemplates The Housing Plan for this year.

The Regeneration and Urban Renewal Area of ​​this municipality is delimited between the commercial area of ​​the town and access to Puerto Lumbreras, and includes the rehabilitation of 63 homes and the reconstruction of a property.

The director general and technicians of the Housing Department of the Ministry exposed the neighbors all the procedure they must follow and the documentation they have to provide, as well as the deadlines to obtain the aid, "in order to resolve all their doubts and Can receive the subsidies that correspond to them as soon as possible, "said Fuentes.

The beneficiaries of the subsidies will receive aid of up to 50 percent of the total budget of the action that they will carry out in their homes, with a maximum amount of 14,850 euros.

For the reconstruction works, the aid supposes up to 35 percent of the cost of the work, with a maximum of 30,000 euros per house.

During the meeting, Nuria Fuentes informed of the new Housing Plan, which provides aid of 19 million euros for this year for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of buildings, regeneration of urban areas in about twenty municipalities in the Region, as well as Aid for rent and for the preparation of the Building Evaluation Report.

"This Plan will reach more than 8,500 families, with housing needs, and will create more than 1,500 jobs related to construction, thus contributing to economic recovery," concluded the director general.
