Puerto Lumbreras makes available to the artists of the Region two public spaces with a total of 180 square meters to host traveling exhibitions.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras requested the adhesion to the Network of Expositive Spaces of the Region of Murcia, which has already been made effective through the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA), dependent on the Ministry Of Culture and Portavocía.
Thus, Puerto Lumbreras makes available to the artists of the Region two public spaces with a total of 180 square meters to host traveling exhibitions.
Specifically, the spaces attached are the exhibition hall of the Casa de los Duendes, the Augusto Vels exhibition hall of the Casa de los Duendes and the Casa Taller del Artesano, located in the Medina Nogalte Tourist Complex.
At the same time, it should be noted that four lumbrerenses artists have presented themselves to the selective process of exhibition projects to exhibit their works of art in the different halls of the region adhered to this initiative.
This is a call made by the Ministry of Culture and Portavocía that offers the different municipalities a quality exhibition program that will contribute to value the rooms and museums of the Region of Murcia.
The Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Mª Victoria Jerez, explained that "we have joined this initiative with the aim of promoting local artists. In addition, this project allows us to host exhibitions from different points in the Region of Murcia".
