At the end of April the faculty will travel to Madrid to share their innovative experience in a forum to which they have been invited.
CUENFUSIÓN is the name of the new project of the CEIP Purísima Concepción de La Estación-Esparragal, developed within the national program Samsung Smart School.
An initiative of which they are part since 2015, through the Ministry of Education of the Region of Murcia, with Molina de Segura, and being one of the only two regional centers included in it.
Among its objectives include the introduction of the use of the tablet in the classroom, as well as encourage the practice of cooperative work methodologies among students.
This year the courses of 4th, 5th and 6th grade of Primary have had the challenge of proposing a book, presenting it to the rest of the classmates and then, between couples, making a new creation by writing their own story.
These explanations can be consulted through a QR code that allows access to different contents in video format, as well as access to new books through the Scratch Jr. application.
The ambassador of the project Samsung Smart School in the center, Ana José Marín, has highlighted the enthusiasm shown by the participating students as well as the importance of this type of projects.
According to his own words, "they allow working digital competence and teamwork as a basis for the future," highlighting the whole learning process that "if they repeated it again, these students would know what they do not have to fail".
For its part, the councilor for Equality, Education, Sonia Lopez, who has been invited to the presentation, has addressed the young participants to make them reflect on the need to make good use of new technologies, noting that "not only They are used to use applications such as WhatsApp but, with initiatives as important and necessary as this, the little ones can discover many other uses with which they can learn, grow and have fun. "
The center has been invited from the Samsung Smart School to participate in a forum at the end of April in Madrid to present CUENFUSIÓN and to share teaching experiences from different parts of the Spanish geography.
An appointment to which they have already had the opportunity to attend on other occasions, as was the case last year in which they presented their radio project in streaming made in collaboration with a Galician center.
The next activity will aim to present the project CUENFUSIÓN to the group of parents of the center, as well as an exhibition at the Biblioteca de La Estación-Esparragal.
In addition, the new copies will become part of the Biblioparque that students can enjoy two days a week during their rest time.
Point out that the Samsung Smart School project seeks to improve the use of information technologies in education throughout the country, providing access to these digital learning environments to support student creativity and reduce the digital divide, also offering a accompaniment to their teachers in the digital transformation process and the intensive use of interactive digital content.
