Shops and local associations contributed to the charity event with many gifts that were drawn from all participants.
The local mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, encouraged citizens to "continue to cooperate actively with the Association to fight the disease and help patients and their families in the municipality."

Puerto Lumbreras traditional dinner hosted last night Charitable Cancer Association which was attended by over 350 lumbrerenses.
Among those attending were members of the Local Assembly of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Puerto Lumbreras, headed by its president, Ana M ª Cerrillo, members of different associations and businesses in Puerto Lumbreras, and members of the government team.
The event was also attended by President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer at the regional level, Augustine Navarrete, and the Mayor of the town, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, who encouraged all participants to continue working with the association to fight this disease.
For its part, the president of the local board of the AECC, Ana Maria Cerrillo, thanked the various entities consistory and its partnership with this event each year is added a greater number of lumbrerenses.
At the charity dinner were drawn more than 200 gifts were donated by businesses and local associations.
With the celebration of the traditional charity dinner, the Association Against Cancer raised over 3,500 euros that will serve to give the association more resources and support for people with this disease.
