Agree build a new lift station to improve infrastructure (17/10/2013)

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, and the president of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel, Adolfo Garcia de Marco, have held a working meeting to discuss various issues related to projects and performances of works to improve the supply and water transport in the town of Puerto Lumbreras.

They visited the area which will house the new water pumping station for the hamlet lumbrerense of Góñar-Puerto Adentro.

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, and the president of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel, Adolfo Garcia de Marco, have held a working meeting to discuss various issues related to projects and performances of works to improve the supply and water transport in the town of Puerto Lumbreras.

After the meeting, the president of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel and the Mayor visited the water tank of Góñar lumbrerense hamlet, and the different areas you fro the works to be undertaken to improve infrastructure that supply drinking water to the hamlet of Góñar lumbrerense.

To do this, create a new lift station will pump 60 m3 per hour with a new 2,000 m3 reservoir to supply approximately the hamlet of Góñar.

The water from this new deposit Góñar reach the gravity tank, and the water path begins at Puerto Lumbreras deposit, located in the vicinity of Castle Nogalte.

From this point to the new tank will be a stretch to the pump suction to be only as transport line with a length of 5600 meters.

The intake tract ends in a load break that will keep water level, and that will suction to a drive that has two pumps: one acting on island, powered by a solar partner and a second powered from the mains Electric.

At this point, we will use the drive for driving the water reaches the height of the new reservoir, so that later the water can reach by driving Góñar gravity tank.

In this case, gravity will conduct dual function of distribution and transport and use the service road traces the A-7.

Note that investment in this project is EUR 2,331,731.79 through the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
