President Paradores de Turismo, Miguel Martinez, has announced that within two years in Puerto Lumbreras chain will open its second Hotel School, given the high occupancy that is Leon, which is the only one that exists today and "is now too small"

The school-hostel in Puerto Lumbreras, the only planned for the south of Spain, will start once inaugurate the Parador de Lorca, as explained Martinez, on the occasion of the signing of an agreement with Spain Fund, under which the financial institution will provide 60,000 euros for 20 scholarships for this course.

Thus, the establishment of Puerto Lumbreras, but will remain Parador, is "above" school, given the proximity of the new Parador de Lorca.

Thus, the chain will have two training schools in Spain, one to the north of León, and the other south of Puerto Lumbreras.

The School of Puerto Lumbreras is like that of Leo, and she taught courses in management expertise and kitchen for food and beverage management, and buildings and hotel facilities in which maintenance is concerned.

As already announced, the new School of Puerto Lumbreras arises from an imminent need, because the school has outgrown León, as well as training new students also serves to update the training of 4,600 employees of the chain.

The Paradores president made the announcement during the signing of an agreement with the president of Box Spain, Santos Llamas, whereby the financial institution will provide 60,000 euros for 20 scholarships for training in the School House.

Since it was launched in 2006, the House has made school a total of 200 students, of which 100 percent have found jobs, said Martinez.

The project "School House" arises from the need to retain all the knowledge accumulated by House over its more than eighty years of history.

Martinez stressed job creation in House, where in the last 6 months have created 250 jobs.

For this course, which started on 5 October, have enrolled a total of 53 students, as explained.
