More than fifty children have participated in the IV Educational Campus "Villa de Puerto Lumbreras", which was held from June 22 to 29 at the Sports Center of Puerto Lumbreras.
This summer school, aimed at children between 4 and 16 years old, has hosted the traditional closing ceremony with diplomas.
The event was attended by the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, and the organizers of the initiative.
The educational football campus has included professional induction and improvement training;
specific training of goalkeepers;
recreational and leisure activities;
water activities in municipal swimming pools;
healthy breakfasts;
fitness classes and zumba;
English classes and sports competitions.
In addition, the children have had the visit of professional players and have been able to attend talks by personalities from the world of sports.
The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports explained that "it is a campus that reinforces the knowledge of children in sports, deepens the acquisition of new skills and promotes values ​​as important as respect, solidarity, companionship or equality" .
