The Department of Physical Activity and Sports has just made a balance by concluding the summer season in the summer municipal pools.
Some data that have been very positive as a whole, since "the number of users has increased in all services offered by this City Council, both in swimming courses and in free access to swimming pools or participation in the many activities organized throughout the summer months ", as pointed out by his councilor, Juan Rubén Burrueco.
Thus, swimming courses during the summer 2018 "have beaten attendance record with more than 200 registered," says Burrueco, despite the fact that on Thursday, August 16, there were some places available for the offer of the last fortnight.
On the other hand, the municipal summer pools registered 14,454 accesses by users during the months of June, July and August.
The month in which the greatest number of tickets was sold was July, 5,165 for adults and 2,512 for children.
On the other hand, according to Burrueco "we must highlight the success of the nights of the Tuesdays of the month of July, with the opening of the pools until 00.00 and where we have been able to enjoy various shows such as live music, magic or Freestyle Battles ", as well as the Young Night of Saturday, August 11, with which the town celebrated Youth Day.
Starting today, Monday September 3, the services of the Department of Physical Activity and Sports return to normal, being located again in the Sports Center.
From there they will be able to provide information and make registrations for the courses of the indoor pool, which will start on September 17 with the new fall season.
