The Popular Party of Puerto Lumbreras has lowered the Real Estate Tax (IBI) of a rustic and urban nature during the current legislature.
The popular mayor has stressed that "the lowering of taxes was one of our commitments for this term and we have met.
We have managed to lower the IBI by making a great effort and adjusting the budget to the maximum without diminishing the quality of the public services we offer to the Lumbrerenses ".
It is the first time in the history of the municipality that such a significant reduction in the Real Estate Tax is made.
Mª Ángeles Tunisia stressed that "in total, the citizens of Puerto Lumbreras have saved more than 2,000,000 euros in the Real Estate Tax in this term."
Specifically, a person with a house of 98 square meters saves 63.43 euros on the receipt of the IBI.
On the other hand, the owner of a house of 218 square meters pays 93.08 euros less than before the descent.
The local PP has made an important effort to reduce this tax, whose reduction benefits individuals and entrepreneurs.
In this sense, a businessman with a commercial floor of 346 square meters pays 263.53 euros less than IBI in 2019 with respect to 2015 ..
Similarly, a businessman with an industrial plot of 764 square meters will save 187.25 euros on his receipt of IBI.
