The popular initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras 'Buy against the clock' comes for the second year to Lumbrerense municipality.

Fifty establishments will participate in this activity that is part of the commercial campaign 'The treasure of Puerto Lumbreras', promoted by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City Council.

The Councilor for Trade and Employment, Ángela Morillas, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, Juan Francisco Gómez, have presented this initiative that will begin to develop from April 27 to May 20.

"The objective is to encourage purchases and bring the trade to the customer so that citizens are aware of the commercial diversity that exists in our town, the quality of their offer and the time savings involved in the purchase of proximity," said Angela Morels

People who make purchases over 15 euros in establishments attached to the campaign will get a ballot that will allow them to participate in the draw 'Buy-time trial'.

The lucky one will be awarded with a prize of 1,500 euros that must be spent in a morning without being able to make purchases over 300 euros in each of the participating establishments.

The draw to reveal the name of the winner will be on May 23 at 11:00 in the Delegation of the Chamber in Puerto Lumbreras.

The next day, the winner will make purchases in the shops of Puerto Lumbreras, from 10.00 to 13.00 hours, and must start at the establishment that delivered the winning receipt.

The mayor of Commerce has encouraged establishments to join this campaign and citizens to participate in it with the aim of promoting and invigorating small and medium-sized businesses.

It should be noted that this initiative is subsidized by the General Directorate of Trade, Consumption and Administrative Simplification of the Region of Murcia.
