The Augusto Vels municipal park hosts a spring market throughout the weekend with the participation of a score of posts with a wide variety of items, some of them made by local artisans.

In addition, the market offers activities for the whole family and shows, along the three days, with parades, mosquitoes, humorists and tightrope walkers.

Since yesterday, the market opened with the dancers of the dance academy of Mª Teresa Lazareno, and until Sunday, citizens enjoy this market that offers products related to jewelry, ceramics, textiles, toys and hygiene products, among others.

Opening hours on Saturday and Sunday are from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and, in the afternoon, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Mª Victoria Jerez stressed that "with this initiative we intend to put value on old trades and craft products and quality.The spring market will be a good opportunity to visit Puerto Lumbreras and enjoy local craftsmanship with quality products."
