The Ceilum Cultural and Creative Business Incubator works at full capacity (03/05/2019)

In total, 13 entrepreneurs occupy a space at the Ceilum Cultural and Creative Enterprises Nursery in Puerto Lumbreras, after the delivery of the keys that took place yesterday at the facilities of this public building.

The act was attended by the mayor of the town, M ª Angeles Túnez, the Councilor for Employment and Commerce, Angela Morillas, the president of the business association Aseplu, Jenaro Pérez, the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, Gregorio González , as well as the new entrepreneurs that from today will start their project in the Ceilum.

To the five businessmen that since 2018 hosted the Vivero, now eight new entrepreneurs are incorporated with very varied initiatives related to educational, technological, health and leisure projects.

The infrastructure has 1,500 square meters and has been designed to house business projects related to Communication, Arts and Technology.

El Vivero has thirteen work modules, an assembly hall, a business center, a cafeteria, a course room, a meeting room, a creativity room and an outdoor terrace for meetings.

All offices have a security system and fingerprint access, so they can use the facilities every day and at any time.

As consideration for the use of the offices, entrepreneurs must pay a monthly fee of 50 euros.

The mayor of the town has announced that "with the aim of providing facilities to Lumbrerenses, and as an incentive measure, entrepreneurs will not have to pay the first two installments for occupying a place in the Business Incubator".

Mª Ángeles Tunisia stressed that "this nursery, which already works at full capacity, helps to promote and develop business projects, promoting competitiveness and the development of the productive fabric."

"The infrastructure was born as a project to help the creation of companies with the primary objective of supporting and facilitating entrepreneurs the implementation of their project, increasing local development and diversification of economic activity in our municipality" has clarified Tunisia.

After the signing last week of the addendum to the collaboration agreement between the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Incyde Foundation for the creation and development of a Nursery of Cultural and Creative Enterprises, the installation has been 100% financed by the European Fund of Regional Development (Feder).

Tunisia has concluded that "our objective with the start-up of the Vivero is to support business vocations and help entrepreneurs, by providing them with an adequate space in which to develop their business ideas".
