Puerto Lumbreras already has a new Queen of the Fiestas 2019: Marina Millán López.
This young Lumbrerense was last night the one chosen by popular vote among the five remaining ladies who aspired to win the title.
This year the Gala of the Queen's Dance celebrated its 61st anniversary, dedicated to the "steampunk" movement and the far west.
Idea that arose from the winning float of the Parade of Floats of the patron celebrations of last year.
In addition, the soundtrack of this edition was the mythical British group 'Queen'.
The nearly 2,000 attendees were able to enjoy great hits like 'BohemianRhapsody', 'We will rock you', 'somebody to love' or 'we are the champions', among others.
The ones in charge of conducting the gala were the showman Carlos Chova and the vedette and singer Alba.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, MÂª Ángeles Tunisia, stressed that "the Dance is one of the most entrenched traditions of Puerto Lumbreras, which year after year has become a reference for all the residents of the town. We have lived another magical night, in which very intense feelings have emerged among all attendees. "
During the course of the gala, Víctor Campos's ballet delighted the audience with several dance, music and entertainment shows.
To end the evening, the Queen of the Fiestas 2018, Ana García, gave the crown to Marina Millán.
The ladies of the 2019 edition are Elena Artero, Cristina López, Nerea López, Lidia Muñoz and María Navarro.
The ones that accompanied them were Sergio Pérez, José Carlos Guirado, Pedro Zurano, Alberto Pallarés, Iván Artero and Víctor Tejedor.
Next, the Guateque Club Band encouraged attendees the rest of the night.
