Puerto Lumbreras will live its Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Virgen del Rosario from October 2 to 7.

An appointment that will officially begin with the proclamation of the Fiestas that this year will be borne by the university professor and researcher Juana María Morillas.

It will be on Wednesday 2 at 8:00 p.m. in the local Church after the Holy Mass in honor of the Patron Saint of the municipality, and then the popular Verbena de San Francisco will be celebrated that will be enlivened by the Maxims orchestra, in the Plaza Juan Pablo II next to the Church.

The concert poster is composed of different groups, among which is the performance of Duende Callejero on Thursday 3 as the opening of the Young Tent;

on Friday 4 David Andreu will be at the Noon Fair;

In Vivo at 22:00 in the Municipal Booth, and Sergio Contreras, Indara and Manuel Delgado at 23:00 in the Young Tent.

On Saturday 5 Rocío Ojuelos in the Municipal Booth at 10 pm and Sinsinati and Space Elephant at 11 pm in the Young Tent.

On Sunday, October 6, The Tracks will perform at 5:00 p.m. at the Noon Fair, Baron Rojo and La Leñera at 10:00 p.m. at the Carpa Joven.

The closing will be the concert of local groups with Roca Madre, Ultimo Eco, Euphoria and Romera Brothers at 9:00 p.m. and the tribute to Rocío Durcal at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7.

All with free admission.

There are many activities scheduled for these days, designed to serve a very diverse audience.

Therefore, on Thursday 3 the Noon Fair will be inaugurated and the Virgen del Rosario Festival of Choirs and Dances will be held, which will reach a new edition.

One more year, the Medieval Market will be located in the San Rafael Park from Friday 4 to Sunday 6, in the same way that Riá Pitá will hold the Children's Festival on Friday 4, coinciding with the day of the Mayor, in which it will take place 5:30 p.m.

At the same time the Floral Offering to the Patron and subsequent solemn Mass will take place, and at 7:00 p.m.

For the little ones, 'Children's Day' on Monday 7, feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, with Children's Encierro at 10.00, and with the musical children's show 'The lady and the tramp' at 17.30 in the Municipal Booth .

That day, children can enjoy all the attractions of the fair at a reduced price of 2 euros.

In addition, during these holidays, one more year minors with a disability equal to or greater than 33% will not have to pay to make use of the attractions of the fair by documenting this situation.
