The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras through the Department of Training and Employment, has started simultaneously two courses aimed at unemployed people.
One of the courses is "Communication in Spanish Language N2", whose general objective is to understand oral and written productions, to be able to express and interact appropriately in different social and cultural contexts, as well as to use language in the construction of knowledge, understanding of reality and self-regulation of thought, emotions and behavior.
The other is "Communication in Mathematics N2", which seeks to identify the mathematical elements present in reality and apply mathematical reasoning in solving problems related to everyday life, using numbers and their basic operations, measurements, geometry, Algebra and data analysis.
These courses, each lasting 120 hours, will be taught at the Women's Center in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and are scheduled to end in February.
In order to access them, students must NOT have a degree in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent.
Once these courses have been passed, students will be able to complete professional certificates level 2 without languages;
as for example, Certificate of professionalism in socio-health care for dependents at home and social institutions.
Students who meet the requirements will have training support measures (scholarships).
So far there are 14 students, but those interested can register until November 22 at the CEILUM (next to the municipal summer pool) or by phone 670 425 907, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
