The events occurred last Monday afternoon, when the agents received a telephone notification from the manager of a well-known supermarket in the town, warning that two women had entered the establishment and possibly had stolen several items and had left in a vehicle of black color
After an intense search through the different streets of the town, it is possible to locate the vehicle that matches the description in a dark area a few meters from another supermarket.
Next, the agents watch an individual leave the establishment and observe how they get into the vehicle in an accelerated way, place themselves at the main door of the supermarket with the engine running, waiting for someone and in a fleeing position.
Next, they watch two women hurry out of the supermarket, to get into the vehicle and at that time the agents block the exit of the vehicle, so that they do not leave the place.
After identifying the three people, they proceed to register the vehicle, observing that they carry large quantities of high-priced food, such as boxes of prawns, cans of high-end cockles, bottles of liquors, chocolates and Iberian sausages, among others.
Once they have contacted the managers of four local supermarkets, they verify that the products have been effectively taken from their establishments and, given the evidence, they arrested the three perpetrators for a crime of continued theft and return of seized products.
Mayor María de los Ángeles Tunisia Garcia congratulated the agents for their good intervention and thanks the citizen participation for collaborating with the Police she directs.
Likewise, it has expressed the intention of imminently reinforcing the workforce with the incorporation of three new agents, in order to continue maintaining a good quality of citizen security in the Lumbrerense population.
