The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras;

María Ángeles Tunisia, and the Regional Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports of the regional Government;

María Cristina Sánchez, have given this morning the awards to 15 companies and services of the municipality for their effort and commitment to tourism quality promoted by the Integral System of Spanish Tourism Quality in Destination (SICTED).

The Puerto Lumbreras City Council has been part of this project for 8 years, and most of the companies present at the event have been distinguished since 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Specifically, they have received their diploma and plaque the Interpretation Center of the Nature of Cabezo de la Jara, Casa Rural Los Asensios, Ethnographic Hall of Agriculture and Livestock of Casa del Cura, El Ruedo Restaurant, Astronomical Observatory of Cabezo de la Jara , Guirrete Celebrations and Events, Raiguero Restaurant, Medina Nogalte, Mesón Villarejo, Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras, Tourist Office of Puerto Lumbreras, Hotel Riscal, Las Águilas del Sol, Viajes Mercurio and Casa de los Duendes.

It is a distinction of quality that covers the entire municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, and that allows obtaining distinctions (plaques) recognized at the national level in the field of tourism quality to companies, something fundamental in current times.

Adhering to the system does not imply any economic cost for them.
