After the recent statements in the regional written press by the PSOE of Puerto Lumbreras, the government team of the Popular Party in the City of Puerto Lumbreras shows its surprise at the same and wants to record that the Socialist Party of the municipality once again shows more its disloyalty, at the moment in which it is working to unite a budget for 2020, and when there are pending new meetings with the different political groups represented in the town hall with this objective.
The Government team, through the Department of Finance, met on December 18 with its obligation to submit before the end of the year 2019 the draft of the new 2020 budgets, taking the information commission of the Treasury for its knowledge by from the rest of political groups.
After this, meetings have been held with the different formations, receiving proposals from PSOE and IU that are being studied to meet again and reach a possible consensus to approve the 2020 budgets. Until their approval, as in any City Council of the national territory , it works with extended budgets of 2019.
Government team sources indicate that it has been working for a long time on these budgets to continue the smooth running of the session.
Different negotiating tables have been held with the union representatives, reaching agreements that improve the working conditions of municipal workers.
In addition, the budget includes new investments for Puerto Lumbreras.
It is proposed, among others, to carry out the Works and Services Plan 2020 for the improvement of the streets of our municipality for an amount of more than 281,000 euros.
