Councilor for Economic Promotion, Local Development, Companies, Industry and Commerce |

Various ideas were contributed to the meeting to enhance the competitiveness of the local economic and commercial sectors through innovative actions

Last Thursday, the Municipal Council for Economic, Business and Commercial Development was established, in order to "become a forum for debate for the improvement of the commercial and business sector of the municipality," said the president of the meeting;

the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras María Ángeles Tunisia, who delegated the position of president of the Council in Rocío Martínez Franco;

Councilor for Economic Promotion, Local Development, Companies, Industry and Commerce.

In addition, Ana Sosa, second vice president of César Gázquez Díaz, was appointed as first vice president;

First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Works, secretary to Encarnación Franco and members of the other members: representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, the Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Lorca (Ceclor) and the Confederation of Businessmen Puerto Lumbreras (Aseplu), the Association of Young Entrepreneurs Guadalentín Emprende, Public Safety (Local Police) and sectors such as food and hospitality, decoration and commerce.

In this meeting it was agreed to establish the ordinary meetings of the council on the first Thursday of each month at 3:00 p.m., and next Thursday, February 6 a calendar of quarterly actions will be set, with achievable and short-term objectives.

In other matters, at the meeting he proposed the creation of two commissions;

one of commercial and business dynamization, and another of infrastructure, in addition to proposing that all the representatives of the associations be on the working tables and establish joint work lines.

Various ideas were also contributed to enhance the competitiveness of the local economic and commercial sectors through innovative actions that respond to the needs of the city's economic, business and commercial fabric.
