The Department of Commerce of the City of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the association of businessmen Aseplu and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, has launched a new campaign on the occasion of the feast of Valentine.
The objective of this campaign is to promote local commerce and encourage Lumbrerenses to the days before this date;
On February 14, shop at the Puerto Lumbreras stores.
To do this, the campaign includes a raffle for a dinner for two people and a gift voucher to purchase products in local commerce, among all those who make purchases for Valentine's Day in fashion stores, jewelry, travel, accessories or shoe stores in the municipality .
In addition, participants will have to post a photo of their purchase on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #SanValentinPuertoLumbreras, from February 1 to February 14.
The draw will be held live on February 14 at 12:00.
In addition, the bars and restaurants of the municipality offer special menus for this date.
"La Rambla", "Loma´s", "Ramblizo", "La Pampa", "El Ruedo", "El Chusneo", "Virgen del Rocío", "Cave of the Sultana", Hotel Riscal, "El Descanso" , "El Límite", "Mesón Mi Cortijo" and "Pernías" encourage all Lumbrereans to enjoy an unforgettable night.
The Councilor for Commerce, Rocío Martínez, explained that "the main purpose of the campaign is to boost retail trade in the city of Puerto Lumbreras, encouraging purchases in the municipality in the week that coincides with this celebration."
In addition, he has highlighted "the variety, quality, attention and proximity that Lumbrerense commerce offers" and has encouraged residents and visitors to take advantage of these days to shop at the stores in Puerto Lumbreras.
This is just another of the initiatives that the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras carries out to support and promote local commerce.
Without going any further, last Thursday the Municipal Council of Economic, Business and Commercial Development was established, in order to "become a forum for debate for the improvement of the commercial and business sector of the municipality", in the words of the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras María Ángeles Tunisia.
A Council in which in addition to the Department, representatives of trade, food, hospitality, decoration and other sectors of the town, Local Police, as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, the Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Lorca (Ceclor), the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Puerto Lumbreras (Aseplu), and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs Guadalentín Emprende.
This body will meet the first Thursday of each month.
