The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, María Ángeles Tunisia and the Councilor with competences in Municipal Works and Services, César Gázquez, presented this morning at the Casa de los Duendes Cultural Center a new tool that encourages citizen participation and the rapid resolution of incidents by the municipality of Lumbrerense.

And it is that citizens can from now notify of incidents, breakdowns, complaints or suggestions on street cleaning, waste collection, street furniture, damage to public roads, parks, gardens or lighting, among others, just by sending a message.

The phone 666 669 492 is a new communication channel only for WhatsApp that allows to report incidents or breakdowns that are detected and to be able to send your location and photographs immediately, comfortably and free of charge.

The incidents can be communicated at any time of the day, with a maximum response time of less than 24 hours.

The corresponding municipal services will solve the problem in question as soon as possible.

Users have the possibility to add a photograph, describe in words the incident and include the street where the problem is reported, which allows to detect the exact place of the deterioration and even its condition: if they are resolved, pending or In the process of resolution.

With this measure implemented by the Department of Municipal Works and Services, the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras intends to "get closer to the citizen, making it a participant in this public service and also facilitate their collaboration so that it can improve day by day the quality of the public services of the municipality ", as pointed out by the mayor;
