The need to give a definitive impulse to the transfer of the Negratín, among other issues of vital importance for the municipality, marked the themes of the work table.
Last Wednesday, March 4, the spokeswoman for the PSOE in Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Rosa García, together with the councilor of the area of agriculture, held a fruitful working meeting with the new Government Delegate, José Veléz.
The delegate showed the unequivocal commitment of the Government of Spain to unlock all those files that have been paralyzed for many years.
After two decades of claims since José Cerrillo, the former Socialist mayor, began the procedures for obtaining water resources from the Negratín, the time has come to give the final impulse for approval.
The General Secretary of the PSOE of Puerto Lumbreras, María Rosa García, also transferred to the Government Delegate, other issues of vital importance for the municipality.
The unquestionable support to the agricultural and livestock sector of the municipality, the need to provide a solution to the situation of the former National Tourism Parador, and the need for better access to our industrial estate, were also on the table.
According to María Rosa García, "the situation of total paralysis, both of the local and regional administration, and the inability of the Popular Party and its new local government partners to solve the problems facing the municipality, leads us again to take the initiative in the search for solutions "
