Through the telephone numbers 968403107 and 670425907 and the e-mail cife2@puertolumbreras.es, freelancers and SMEs can obtain free advice on municipal, regional and state measures adopted and from which they can benefit from the economic consequences of COVID-19.

The Department of Economic Dynamization and Local Development of the Puerto Lumbreras City Council has launched a service for small and medium-sized companies and the self-employed who need advice on the economic measures derived from the declaration of a state of alarm in our country in the face of the crisis by COVID-19.

In this way, through the telephone numbers 968403107 and 670425907 and the e-mail cife2@puertolumbreras.es, freelancers and SMEs can obtain free advice on municipal, regional and state measures adopted and from which they can benefit from the economic consequences of the movement restrictions and the closure of establishments and businesses after the decree of the State of Alarm, except for those considered essential.

This initiative is in addition to those already taken by the Puerto Lumbreras City Council.

Among others, entrepreneurs in the municipality will be helped by suspending the payment of the monthly fee in the business incubators while the state of alarm lasts, as well as the effective time of the contracts for the assignment of premises therein.

We recall that the government team of the Popular Party has already announced the launch of a battery of tax and fiscal measures in Puerto Lumbreras, aimed at all citizens, with special attention to small businesses, autonomous communities and companies.

These measures include exemption from the payment of the fee to market vendors who have not had the opportunity to reopen their usual positions, as well as compensation in the next payment of the fees and taxes established for occupation of public roads for establishments with terraces, such as bars and cafes.

Also the compensation of fees and public prices of services not provided by the City Council in the month of March due to the current restrictions: sports center activities (swimming pool, gym, courses) and nursery schools.

In addition, the moratorium on the payment of the vehicle circulation tax has been approved, and other measures are being studied, such as the tax reduction of the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) for local companies that are suffering losses as a result of this emergency situation. , rebate on receipts for drinking water and garbage to self-employed and companies, general reduction of the IBI for the entire population as a measure to help families and economic reactivation of the municipality, or to extend the rewards established in the Social Water Bonus to include in its coverage to merchants, hoteliers and freelancers.
