The councilor also wanted to remember that cleaning tasks are carried out every day in the places with the most influx of people, such as the shopping area, the medical center, pharmacies or banks.
In addition, the Industrial Estate, the truck parking and several gas stations have been disinfected, as well as the Hotel Riscal, which has provided its facilities to meet the needs of accommodation and catering for health, military and transporters free of charge. In all these actions, which are carried out on a daily basis, the cleaning and disinfection of public roads with specialized disinfectants and sanitizers for this type of case has been added from the first day, with the aim of preventing the increase in infections by Covid -19. On the other hand, the City Council has had the help of companies in the agricultural sector every Sunday since the start of the confinement, with the intention of collaborating in the disinfection of streets with their spraying equipment and thus reinforcing the street cleaning service. The mayor of Sustainable Development makes a special appeal to citizens to collaborate now more than ever with municipal service workers, always leaving the waste inside the container in a closed bag and not leaving items on public roads. Finally, César Gázquez wanted to thank the commendable work that the municipal workers are doing, carrying out a task that is vital to avoid the spread of the virus: "They are all showing great responsibility"
