| The initiative, the purpose of which is to raise funds for the purchase of medical supplies to fight against COVID-19, has already managed to collect about 19,000 euros | The Councilor for Economic Dynamization and Local Development of the Puerto Lumbreras City Council; Rocío Martínez, and representatives of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Puerto Lumbreras (Aseplu) have delivered this morning to the Rafael Méndez de Lorca Hospital a BiPap, a respirator acquired thanks to the funds raised through the solidarity campaign for the purchase of material health and food jointly organized by Aseplu, the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, and the Department of Commerce of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.

It is a fundamental device to help save lives in serious situations that make it difficult for a patient to breathe,and that it has been possible to buy thanks to donations from companies and individuals in the municipality to the solidarity account set up in order to collaborate with the acquisition of medical supplies to help the Puerto Lumbreras health center and the Rafael Méndez Hospital in the prevention and fight against COVID-19. In addition, an order for materials has been made for the Puerto Lumbreras health center that will arrive in the next few days, which joins the purchase of food that has been carried out for the neediest families, distributing basic products to through the Social Services of the municipality.
