From this same date, the calculation of the periods that had been suspended resumes or is restarted. This regulatory amendment allows the Puerto Lumbreras City Council to require the owners of empty lots to clean and condition them.
Starting today, owners are being informed to proceed with these tasks.
"We call the responsibility and solidarity of the owners to keep their plots clean and fenced in order to avoid the inconvenience that they may cause to the neighbors, as well as the danger of fire," says the Councilor for Works and Services; César Gázquez. On the other hand, the Puerto Lumbreras City Council has been carrying out the cleaning of the municipally owned plots for weeks as well as trails along which pedestrians usually walk.
The contracting procedure for the cleaning of the margins of rural roads is also being prepared, and in the next few days the Autonomous Community will proceed to carry out these tasks on the RM-D11 roads linking El Esparragal-La Estación with Lorca and RM-D16 that connects this district with Puerto Lumbreras.
