| Representatives of the government team of the City Council, CAVI and different lumbrerenses associations and individuals meet via telematics to discuss different issues around policies of equality of the municipality | The Equality Council of the Puerto Lumbreras City Council, promoted by the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy of the Region of Murcia, met via telematics to discuss issues regarding the plan for equality awareness. Among the outstanding agreements is a professional guide to care resources for women victims of gender violence, a protocol for companies for a society free of gender violence and the social and labor insertion of these victims through the Network of Employment Offices of the SEF and CAVIS workers from the Region of Murcia. In addition, the Service for the Prevention and Comprehensive Care of Victims of Sexual Assault and / or Abuse (CAVAX), a team made up of professionals from psychology, social work and law, who provide free care to women over 16 who have suffered or are suffering any signs of sexual violence. This plan for raising awareness on equality considers as one of its most important objectives the development in the educational field of an action guide against gender-based violence, to introduce equal values ??free of prejudice and facilitate a series of basic guidelines that help to detect alleged cases of gender violence in this context, as well as knowing what to do or how to act from the first moment. Another initiative is the carrying out of activities focused on young people with the aim of raising awareness and raising awareness in this sector regarding equality. To carry out this project, the Department will shortly hold an extraordinary meeting in order to operationalize the activities, guides and protocols to be developed at the municipal level, as well as incorporate new ideas or suggestions to enrich and maintain the Municipal Equality Plan.
