| The beneficiaries will be able to use this aid to purchase hearing aids, glasses and oral treatment | The Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy, through the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS), has announced the implementation of the new order of aid to disabled people to a degree equal to or greater than 33%, that require the acquisition of instruments or specialized aids, as well as for the elderly, for an amount of up to 3,000 euros to subsidize the obtaining of devices or equipment that help improve the well-being and quality of life of these people. The beneficiaries will be able to allocate this financial aid for the purchase of hearing aids of up to 3,000 euros for a maximum of two units per person, an aid of up to 1,500 for oral treatment and up to 300 euros for the purchase of glasses.
In the case of people with disabilities, the purchase of articulated beds is added for a maximum amount of 1,100 euros. The deadline for submission of applications will be open for 20 business days from the next publication in the Official Gazette of the Region (BORM) on Wednesday June 10. Those interested should contact the Social Services of the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras or contact through the telephones 968 40 20 71 or 652 90 22 88, where they will also inform them of the requirements to be met and documentation to be provided.
