| This subsidy will help defray the extraordinary costs for the hiring of personnel as well as for the acquisition of hygienic-sanitary material for the prevention of COVID -19 | The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras will receive a subsidy of almost 30,000 euros from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Community, in order to help defray the extraordinary expenses in cleaning and disinfection of the Infant and Primary Education centers of the municipality and ensure the best security conditions in schools.Specifically, it will help to finance the costs of hiring personnel, the increase in hours of cleaning services in the centers and the cost of hygienic-sanitary and cleaning products.
This action adds to the reinforcement in material and personal resources that the City Council has carried out for this school year in order to prevent possible infections against COVID-19."Extra personnel have been hired to carry out these tasks and continuous disinfection of spaces every day in the morning and afternoon.In addition, we have adapted and marked the centers according to the new health situation, Road Safety has been reinforced at the entrance and exit of schools, and we have acquired spray trucks, disinfection material, masks, hydro-alcoholic gel and everything necessary to minimize risks against the virus.The City Council has spared no effort, within its powers in the field of Education, to ensure that the educational centers of Puerto Lumbreras are safe places, both for students, teachers and other workers, "said the Councilor for Education ; José Manuel Sánchez.
