The Lumbrerenses students will enjoy a performance by the Christmas elves, and they will talk with Father N el himself through live virtual sessions that they can follow from his classroom.

The five schools in Puerto Lumbreras will receive a very special visit this Thursday and Friday morning.

Santa Claus and the Christmas elves will sing and interact with the schoolchildren in a virtual and live tour of the educational centers of the municipality.

The Councilor for Culture; Juan Rub n Burrueco, has pointed out that "we are aware of the current problems with the arrival at the schools of non-staff due to the health situation, and to continue maintaining the Christmas spirit and the illusion n these special dates, we have decided to help ourselves with new technologies so that the children enjoy a performance by the Christmas elves, and the greeting of Pap N el himself through live virtual sessions that they can follow from their classroom.

" The elves and leading characters of the activity will greet each connected group and interact with them, in addition to carrying out narrations, songs and different animation proposals.

Next, the elves will give entrance to Santa Claus who will greet and chat with the students of the connected classrooms in each session, who will be able to convey their wishes and illusions.

Finally, the elves will congratulate Christmas through a musical performance.

Already next Sunday, December 20, Santa Claus will visit the municipal offices of La Estaci n-El Esparragal starting at 11:30 a.m.

And on Thursday the 24th he will be at the door of the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario (11.30 a.m.) and Calle Lorca (1.30 p.m.).These initiatives are part of the wide program of activities that the Puerto Lumbreras City Council has scheduled for this Christmas, always adapted to the health situation, with all security measures, and with the promotion of the commercial fabric of the town as the main objective .
