[The Popular Party brings to full this Thursday the budgets that Puerto Lumbreras needs to overcome the COVID-19 crisis (03/03/2021)

The government team of the municipal group of the Popular Party in the Puerto Lumbreras City Council will take for debate and approval in the ordinary plenary session of this Thursday, March 4, the municipal budget for 2021, which amounts to € 12,185,028.18, with the The objective of having accounts as soon as possible that allow us to continue improving the quality of life of citizens, committing to the economic recovery necessary to alleviate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and carrying out fundamental investments for the progress of the Port Louvers.

"We present responsible budgets, based on prudence and containment of spending, which guarantee a social and economic improvement for our municipality and which aim to help those who need it most and improve the quality of life of all Lumbrerenses, on three priority axes: maintenance of public spaces, streets, parks and cleaning, increase in social aid to protect the most vulnerable groups and people, and support for the business community to combat the effects of the health crisis ", explained the councilor for the Treasury and spokesperson of the popular municipal group; Raquel Rodríguez.

In addition, the amount of social aid is increased by 60 percent, allocating 1,700,000 euros to serve the greatest number of people and the most vulnerable groups and give greater assistance to those who need it, as well as dependents, elderly people , people with disabilities or Early Care, among others.
