This morning started in Puerto Lumbreras the fifth edition of one of endurance racing 12 hours in major mountain bike national territory.
12H Trek Puerto Lumbreras has begun at 11:00 with more than 700 participants and 380 teams competing in categories U23, Elite, Masters 30, Masters 40, Masters 50, Masters 60, teams of 2 and 4, male, female and mixed.
This year, as a novelty also compete in single category of E-electric bicycle.
The event organized by the Club Veloaventura and the Department of Sports of Puerto Lumbreras takes place in a circuit with a total length of 12 kilometers starting and finishing at the Municipal Sports Centre.
Thus, the Rambla de Vilerda offers more than 11 kilometers of fast roll having technical descents, the occasional stretch of trail and a steep rise from 800 meters to kilometer 5 to mark the distances between participants.
