The Secondary School Nogalte Rambla has organized literary 'Memoria Juan Perez' contest.
Specifically, it is an activity that promotes the reading habit among students of the Institute and, at the same time pays tribute to Juan Perez, much loved and remembered among students and teachers for their rigor as a teacher and sensitivity as poet.
Thus, several activities carried out from the center to encourage reading.

This year, as new and coinciding with the celebration of the XXV anniversary of the Institute, the center has held this event in a special way and has enjoyed the participation of students in public schools in the municipality.
Thus, 90 students have enrolled in this contest that aims to be a stimulus for literary creation and promotion of reading and literature among young people.
In addition, the contest is very popular among students who dare to show their talent and imagination in such a complicated task as literary writing.
Notably, more than a hundred people attended the literary contest, including relatives of Juan Perez, the Councillor for Education, Sonia Lopez, and the Councillor for Culture, M.ª Victoria Jerez were.
