The mayor and the director general of SEF deliver diplomas to students who have taken courses at the Training and Employment of Puerto Lumbreras Centro (16/05/2016)

Some of the training activities that students have done have been "Technician leisure activities and free time", "Basic English for hospitality" and "Food Handler" among others.

In addition, the CEO and the mayor of the town have visited the youth involved in the mixed employment and training program "Green Port".

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the director general of the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, today presided over the presentation of diplomas to students who have successfully completed their training process in different branches professionals.

Specifically, a total of 65 people have obtained diplomas for conducting various courses organized by the SEF and the Center for Innovation, Training, Employment and Business Puerto Lumbreras.

Thus, courses and workshops that students have satisfactorily passed were: "Technician leisure activities and free time", "computer and internet applications in rural areas", "Energy efficiency in buildings", "Basic English for Hospitality "" food Handler "and" social skills ".

In this sense, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras explained that "these training courses have been aimed primarily at the professional training of unemployed people".

Moreover, he added that "the choice of courses we have made based on skill needs we have detected in area businesses."

On the other hand, after the presentation of diplomas, the general manager and the mayor of the town have visited the youth involved in the mixed employment and training program "Green Port".

Through this program 15 students enrolled in the system Youth Guarantee are receiving adequate for 3 months to certificate for professional gardening specialty training.

The next six months these young people will be hired and complement their training with professional practice.

In addition, Maria Angeles Tunisia and Alejandro Zamora also visited people who are part of 4 other employment programs launched by the City of Puerto Lumbreras, among which are administrative assistants, data recorders, auxiliary gardening, laborers cleaning and masonry.

Finally, the Mayor said that "our main goal is to continue creating jobs and generating new opportunities for all lumbrerenses, especially for youth and long-term unemployed. To do this, we will launch more joint training programs and employment, new plans We organize training and new job fairs that will enable the employment of unemployed people ".
