The Council organizes summer for a full program of activities for all audiences with dance festivals, travel, music, poetry and film, among other activities.
As a novelty, it has proposed an offer of trips to theme parks and summer cinema in different parks in the municipality.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, accompanied by the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maria Victoria Jerez, and members of different associations have presented the new program of activities "Nogalte Cultural" which will take place during the months of July and August in the town.
Specifically, nearly 40 cultural, sporting and entertainment make this program designed by the City of Puerto Lumbreras "to best meet the expectations of leisure lumbrerenses and visitors."
In this sense, the new edition of Cultural Nogalte 2016 starts with a loaded music and dance week.
So, next June 30 at 21: 30h the town host a Festival of Dance Academy by Maria Teresa Lazareno.
On Friday 1 July at 22: 00h will be the turn of the Association Ria Pitá will offer a Flamenco Festival under the slogan "La Zarzamora" with a tribute to Lola Flores, which will include live performance of the Soniquete groups and Arachi Flamenco.
On Saturday July 2, will be held the First International Festival of Folklore "Between cultures", with the participation of dance groups China, Russia, Puerto Rico and Spain (Puerto Lumbreras and Toledo).
In addition, Songs and Dances Virgen del Rosario has also organized prior to the performance from the Constitution Square to the church parade.
The program continues on July 7 with the act of the Day of Independence, in which he will present honorary awards to recognize the work of lumbrerenses and institutions that have contributed with their commitment and work in the development of Puerto Lumbreras.
On the other hand, the July 8 election and coronation of the infant Queen of the Festival 2016 will be held 20: 00h at the Reina Sofia park.
As a novelty, this year 2016 has proposed an offer travel theme parks.
On July 9 is scheduled a trip to Bioparc (Valencia) and on July 23 to Aqualandia (Benidorm).
On the other hand, it is scheduled activity "young Thursdays" with concerts by various local DJs and the second edition of "Moto-party Puerto Lumbreras" on 9 July.
On July 15 delivery of business awards "Puerto Lumbreras, entrepreneurial city" will be held, and on July 16 neighborhood parties Lemon Tree and the feast of the Virgen del Carmen in GONAR be held.
The municipality will open the doors of the pools summer evening hours on July 20 with live music, on July 22 a poetry recital will be held at the Casa del Cura and July 29 will present the book "Puerto Lumbreras a place to visit "the lumbrerense writer Maria Perez.
As for sports activities, it has organized an evening cruise orientation on July 16 and a new edition of 12 hours of football on July 30.
Another novelty of this edition is the summer cinema in different parks in the city on 3, 10, 17 and 24 August.
Among the films to be projected highlights "The Jungle Book", "Anacleto: Secret Agent" or "Capture the Flag".
Similarly, the host city for the second consecutive year the performance "art in the caves", flamenco shows in Medina Nogalte and cave houses.
In addition, Avenida Pedro Garcia Rubio host the concert "The Espartera" on August 4, whose entrance is free.
The mayor of the town said "is a program aimed at all audiences with different alternatives for lumbrerenses and summer visitors in Puerto Lumbreras".
The program also incorporates Nogalte Cultural dramatized nocturnal visits every Thursday in July and August from 21: 30h by Nogalte Castle, and guided tours on 16 and 30 July and 27 August from the Workshop Artisan House visits.
Finally, astronomical observations will be held from June 15 to September 15 every Wednesday and Saturday at the Astronomical Observatory Cabezo de la Jara.
